Jeep Liberty Arctic 2012


All Jeep Liberty models powered by the 3.7-liter V-6 engine that can produce 210 horsepower (157 kW) @ 5200 rpm and 235 lb.-ft. (319 N • m) of torque rpm@4.000. Jeep Liberty remains true to the legendary 4x4 heritage by offering two Jeep Trail Rated Jeep ® four-wheel-drive systems - Command-Trac II ® and Selec-Trac II ®. Command-Trac II ® is a part-time four-wheel-drive system, which is the standard 4WD configurations. Command-Trac II operates in 2WD, 4WD Lock, 4 WD low and Neutral.

The optional Selec-Trac II ® is a full-time, active on-demand four-wheel-drive system. Select-Trac II operates in 2WD, 4WD Auto, 4WD low and Neutral. Liberty has an independent front suspension with rack-and-pinion § teering and five-link rear suspension.


Available in 4x4 Liberty Sport model, shares many of the same features as the Arctic to the North Pole Wrangler. Exterior colors available are the Winter Chill, Bright Silver, Bright White and Gray Mineral. Badge 'Arctic' on the front fenders are shared, although the sticker of the 'Arctic is unique in the tent for Liberty. Semi-gloss black 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels with center caps painted semi-gloss black wrapped in P235/70R16 all-terrain OWL tires. Rounding out the highlights of the exterior is the color of the glass and tow hooks, blacked-out headlamps and standard fog lamps.


Interior features black and orange color scheme similar to the Arctic is found in the Wrangler. Chairs covered in black vinyl with a Gortex embossment, and inserts are accented with a white cloth Tectonics Polar. Arctic Orange stitching accents can be found in the back seat, cushions and headrests. Power heated front seats and a logo featuring an 'Arctic in the back seat. Finishing touches include white gauges, express up / down one touch windows, Media Center 430 touch screen with a nine-speaker Infiniti sound system and the letter 'Jeep' Mopar mud mat with white.
