Toyota has launched Toyota Yaris Hybrid at 2012 Geneva Motor Show. Toyota Yaris Hybrid comes with an aerodynamic design on the exterior. Yaris is Toyota's best-selling core model, with 'Unit Operations' largest fleet in the streets of Europe. After the launch of the Auris Hybrid back in 2010, both the core Toyota Yaris Hybrid model to feature a Full Hybrid technology, and bring this incredible powertrain for the largest volume segment in Europe.
Toyota Yaris Hybrid features Toyota's HSD powertrain downsizing first. Incorporates a new, 1.5 liter petrol engine with a motor, an electric lighter more compact, transaxle, inverter and battery, the new system is 20% lighter than that of Hybrid Auris.Berkat reduction in the size of each key component of HSD and both fuel tanks and battery is mounted under the rear seat, Toyota Yaris Hybrid is equipped with identical occupant space and luggage capacity 286 liters equal to that of the conventional model.
Toyota Yaris Hybrid is very efficient and 74 kW/100 DIN hp powertrain will offer leading balance of performance and CO2 emissions in the segment of B-, while allowing customers to often drive in a mode that emits zero NOx, PM and CO2 emissions. With air conditioning and automatic transmissions installed as standard, a high level of efficiency does not mean that customers have to compromise on comfort to achieve class-leading emissions.
